Hurst Homes built our custom home in River Glen and my wife and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They really do build dreams! The great thing about working with the team at Hurst Homes is that they made us feel like we were their only client. Throughout the design phase Jon patiently guided us as we considered the pros and cons of our own ideas, he really took the time to listen and explain. Mandy did a wonderful job of helping us choose the right combination of flooring, cabinets, fittings, etc. The house looks fabulous. We made many impromptu visits to the site while the house was under construction and I was really impressed by the dedication and skill of the workers. We had set a fairly aggressive construction schedule, but the team easily met the goal. We were kept informed every step of the way and there were no surprises. Mary and I actually hired Mandy to sell our townhouse, and then had Hurst homes build our new dream home for us. Mandy was efficient and super friendly to work with. She had our house sold in about 1 month after putting it on the market. Amazing to work with and would highly recommend her. I have to say that Hurst homes was very easy to work with. I have built 3 homes in the past, and it was the most stressful and time consuming time of my life.After the first two homes, I swore I would never do it again. BUT, working with Hurst homes on this home turned my entire view of building a new home around. Both himself and his team of professionals were highly responsive, communicative and compassionate towards changes that we made as the building progressed. We actually enjoyed the progress. I am one who honestly would call every two days for updates, show up to the home to check on progress and make changes along the way.I was respected and treated like I was the most important person on their list of jobs. They invited constant communication, the subs were extremely friendly and were always asking if what was done was what we really wanted. Even after the home was built, we had a few minor issues that is par for the course. The real trick here was that they already had been paid in full, but were still responsive to getting everything fixed as we wanted them. I can't say that ever happened on my first two homes. Jon made it clear that if anything went wrong, to call him, and I put him to the test. He instantly followed up and worked as quickly as possible to get everything remediated. Try finding that in another builder! Hurst is also fairly priced. To find honesty, integrity and a personal touch, along with follow-up after the house is done is very rare.
